Yes, i know it’s been a while.  I’ve been so busy lately, i just haven’t been in the mood to post..  Hopefully, that is about to change.

Recently, i got a new laptop and blackberry… Which means i don’t have to be tied down to my desk behind my imac to post. I’ll admit that after a long day in an office chair painting – either digitally or traditionally –  the last thing i want to do is sit there and blog about it. LOL  Thankfully, i have some new toys and a bed desk.

So what have i been up to? Well, I’ve been painting and drawing my butt off! mostly commissions..  i am also working on a coffee table book, but i haven’t had much time to finish my own projects.i do plan on making time soon…

I’ve been adding to my ETSY.com store a little bit ( http://www.etsy.com/shop/GothiqueGirrl ) and I Plan on adding more soon. I have a ton of stuff around the house that i haven’t yet finished.. Plus, i have a ton of old stuff from a few years ago in my closet that i’d like to sell.  stay tuned for more  new on that.

Today’s image is a panda i created in ArtRage 3 Studio Pro. Prints are available in my ETSY shop, if you are interested.

I’ve never taken an art class.. I’ve never taken out a real Advertizement… I’ve never really sold anything outside of the small circle of “dane” or “dog” people..  So it was awseome to learn that one of my designs was featured , at least in a small way, on Zazzle.com’s website yesterday.  It’s really exciting to know that people outside of my small circle think that I have even a glimmer of talent.

Now my goal is to continue to produce art that can gain recognition, if even just of 15 mins.

It’s been a long time since I’ve really updated or done much with my PGR website. I have spent the last few months playing with a few ideas… not really knowing what I wanted to do with the site. Well, I finally decided that I wanted to make not just a gallery of my art, but a site that could also handle a few videos & maybe a podcast… or some blog posts.. or whatever I was in the mood to throw together in that moment.  Hopefully, I accomplished that with the help of Wordpress, a kick-ass theme… and a little know how.
