Well, I’ve been a busy girl… I’ve upgraded my studio a bit. I’ve been buying lots of Art supplies! Canvas, paint, markers and many other helpful things. One of which just cut my extra paper usage down to almost nothing! It’s a Cintiq 12wx. The nifty little sister to the much coveted Cintiq 21UX and 20WSX . I will say it does have a few issues… It was a little prices for what it is… but I love it and do not regret my purchase. Frankly, I don’t know how I worked without it!?!
Well, it was bound to happen! Drastic Price Changes… I hate to say it, but it was time for me to take this whole art thing a bit more seriously. Up to this point, I haven’t really been turning a profit on any of my art. Mostly, creating art has just been a passing hobby but I’ve decided to cut back on some of my other projects and focus on this full time - And I HAVE to make a profit from here on out! I am in desperate need of new equipment and it’s not gonna buy it’s self!!
You will find adjusted prices for Custom Paintings as well as prices for our New Canvas Prints under “Paintings” on my website. I added the Canvas Prints ( starting today ) in order to provide a more cost effective option for those who can not afford my more expensive Originals. I will also be offering canvas prints of some of my digital art and photography as well. Hopefully, this will give us both more choices in the future. :-)
Now to those who say, ” GEEZE, I’ll never afford a painting NOW!!!” … Have no fear! I want to sell art as much as you want to buy it ! So, I’m more than willing to work with any reasonable person who wants a painting or digital print .
Some of you may be asking how I came by my prices. Well, I Google’d “Custom Art” and found the most reasonable prices for Items that were relatively similar to mine… and I went with those. :-)
I am SO freaking excited to tell you all that i am soon going to be putting my art on JEWELRY! This is just one of the first steps I am taking to expand my offerings. I hope to add several other fun things to my site soon…
According to my fellow GDCLA members, our speciality show went off without a hitch! I wasn’t able to attend this year, but I do plan on personally attending next year. My trophies were well received, and I am really happy that people were so pleased with them. One of the winners informed me that his painting will soon be on display at his vet’s office! I think that is SO cool!
I’d like to thank the club for giving the chance to create the trophies this year, and all the people who made it possible by donating the paintings. Also a special thanks to Jennifer Bell, who suggested me for the job. THANK YOU all!
Ok, So after some soul searching.. i decided to restructure and re-purpose the entire site. That includes GothiqueDane.com , PhatGirlsRock.com and GothiqueGirrl.com . I also got rid of some of the dead weight… Frankly, It was time to clean house… Even if I was sad to see some of the old domain name go away…
Not all sites are up and going yet.. please be patient.
I also restructured the CafePress shops. John’s shop - Coffins & Candy - will be the last of the shops to get updated. John is procrastinating with creating new designs.. So I think I am gonna add some new stuff myself.. and get rid of some of the stuff that doesn’t do well… As far as my shops - the PhatGirlsRock Print Shop and the GothiqueDane Print Shop - I am adding new stuff starting this week.

I’ve also posted my iCal Calender online via iCalX . What this means for you .. LOL. Well If you are using OSX you can subscribe to the calendar with iCal… If you are on windows you can download the calender for use with Mozilla Thunderbird and ect… As soon as it is approved, i will be sharing the link for the iCalShare page which will have all the info you need to use the calender. In the meantime just click the link to your right >> and you can view the a web-based version of the Calender.
